A talent that represented England at the level of young people announced that it had been forced to retire at the age of 21.
Morten Spencer joined Leeds de Sunderland in 2019 and made his way in the ranks until he was offered a first professional contract in 2021.
He regularly appeared at the level of young people for whites, but never managed to enter the first team before joining the Derby County U21 in summer.
He represented England twice at level U15 before passing his allegiances in Norway.
However, his career will go further after revealing that he will have to hang his boots due to medical problems.
“The broken heart to say that. I will retire professional football due to a heart problem with which I cannot continue, ” he wrote on Instagram.

Spencer published an emotional message on social networks when he revealed the news to subscribers
“All I have ever known is to kick a ball and I learned everything from the game.
“I am grateful and proud of what I have accomplished. I will never forget the memories that I have and that I created throughout an incredible trip.
“Football is in my DNA and I will continue to support all those who helped me along the way.
“I would like to thank all those who stayed with me during this difficult period and all those who helped me during my career.
