England vs Slovenia odds

  • England 1/3
  • Draw 15/4
  • Slovenia 10/1

England are favorites once again, but whether they will live up to that prize – as they have yet to do so in this tournament – is another question.

Slovenia, however, represents a huge prize, the highest in Group C so far.

Partly because Slovenia have only drawn so far, but that gives them some hope for this final game and potentially qualifying for the knockout stages.

England may have learned a lot from their first two games and could come in with a changed squad and a more attacking outlook with plenty of talent at Gareth Southgate’s disposal.

England vs Slovenia Prediction

With changes to the England team, they could come out stronger here than when they struggled in the second half against Serbia and Denmark.

The Three Lions came very close to opening the scoring from distance but Phil Foden and Harry Kane were denied by small margins as Denmark equalized with an incredible goal that hit the post and inside.

They should have better luck against Slovenia and be more clinical and assured, as the predictions suggest, with their four leading strikers combining to score over 140 goals in 2023/24 for their respective clubs.

England vs Slovenia Predictions

  • Kane and Bellingham to score, Foden and Saka to assist – 16/1

If Southgate can unlock the attacking potential of this team, they should be able to outperform almost any team at the Euros.

That hasn’t been the case so far, but with Trent Alexander-Arnold playing out of position before, a replacement to start things with an experienced midfielder could help.

Likewise, letting Foden step in more centrally alongside Jude Bellingham could see more success in the future.

There were glimpses of this where Foden was able to get inside which resulted in some decent attacking play.

Harry Kane is always reliable to score for England and if he gets half a chance he should bury it.

Bellingham has scored 19 goals in 28 appearances for Real Madrid this season and has already scored one goal for the Three Lions at Euro 2024.

Any of these players should help in an attacking sense and are unlikely to be left out of the starting XI.

A combination of goal contributions from these players can pay off big providing we get the right offensive results.
