Emmerdale: 2025 trailer

Emmerdale viewers are in for a rollercoaster of emotions next week. Marlon Dingle is desperate as he continues his search for his daughter April, who has been missing since Christmas.

Meanwhile, Rhona faces a shocking revelation that makes her a suspect. In another storyline, Joe Tate attempts to bond with Noah Dingle, but Charity has different plans. Ruby Fox-Milligan finally receives the results of her DNA test and Anthony, her abusive father, targets a teenager from the Dales.

Here are the best Emmerdale spoilers for the week ahead.

Marlon has a terrifying dream in which April is dead and wakes up extremely distressed; however, he hides his troubles from Rhona.

Vanessa shows Marlon the latest news on the Hotten Courier website, leading to a distressing moment for Rhona when she discovers her past is being used against her, suggesting she may be responsible for April’s disappearance, reports Leeds Live.

Later, a devastated Marlon admits that April might actually be dead, leading to an emotional moment between him and Rhona. Customers at The Woolpack are mobilizing to restart the search for her daughter.

At this point, Rhona receives a message from their police liaison. Marlon then walks the streets of the city of Leeds, desperately trying to involve passers-by in his search.

Rhona finds herself in a state of paranoia, wondering who could have leaked her information to the press. Meanwhile, Marlon is seen wandering the streets, spotting a young girl resembling April from afar and rushing to meet her, only to later encounter Ross.

After an initial confrontation, Ross attempts to lift Marlon up and maintain his hope of finding April, although he is surrounded by reminders that she is just one of hundreds of thousands of missing people.

In another storyline, Joe strives to bond with Noah by giving him VIP tickets to a Leeds match. However, Charity is upset to see Joe back in Noah’s life and decides to rectify that by asking Ross to warn him.

Ross’s intervention causes Joe to cancel his plan to take Noah to the football game, leaving Noah visibly upset. Charity, on the other hand, is happy that Ross’s warning had the desired effect. But it seems Joe has another plan up his sleeve to get closer to Noah…

Ruby gets DNA test results (Image: ITV)

Elsewhere, Ruby comes home with the DNA test results, worried about what they might reveal. When Caleb suddenly returns, she quickly hides them in her purse.

The next morning, after a night of worry, Ruby finally finds the courage to open the envelope. However, before she can read the results, Steph comes down the stairs. In a final twist, Caleb discovers the results.

In distress, Ruby seeks advice from Chas, who tries to comfort her by telling her that Caleb will not abandon Steph, regardless of the test results. However, Ruby decides it would be better to delete the results without viewing them.
