Emma Raducanu appointed the seventh coach of her career when she is joined here at Indian Wells by Slovak Vlado Platinik, who will work with her in trial.
The 49 -year -old has already trained Daria Kasatkina, Dominika Cibulkova, Veronika Kudermetova and Lulu Sun – the New Zealand who beat Raducanu in Wimbledon last year.
Raducanu has been without coach since Nick Cavaday resigned in January after a year in work due to health problems.
The world n ° 55 has lost four of its five games since then, a period that coincided with its traumatic harassment event.

Its three previous times with more established international coaches – Torben Beltz, Dmitry Tursonov and Sebastian Sachs – only lasted a few months each.
