Emily in the Paris star, Lily Collins, welcomed her first child by substitution maternity.
The actress, 35, shared the new In a joint message on Instagram With her husband, director Charlie McDowell.
“Welcome to the center of our world Tove Jane McDowell,” wrote the couple.
“Words will never express our endless gratitude for our incredible substitution and all those who helped us along the way.”
The post was accompanied by a photo of their sleeping little girl alongside a blanket with her name on it.
It ended by saying: “We love you on the moon and vice versa.”
The announcement one day came after Collins published a tribute to his father, the musician Phil Collins on his birthday.
“From a star of the west coast to the western scene and everywhere between the two, I am so grateful to be by your side and for the support, the experiences and the love we have and will continue to share”, ” She wrote on Instagram.
She accompanied the post with photos of the pair, including one at the Hollywood Walk of Fame of her father’s induction ceremony in 1999, when the actress was only 10 years old.
Born in Guildford and raised in Los Angeles, Collins began to act at a young age.
In 2020, she played the role of director of American marketing Emily Cooper in the series of successful romantic comedy Netflix Emily in Paris.
The show follows Cooper’s life while working in a company in Paris. In season four, which was released last year, Emily moved to Rome to open a new office.
The successful series has been renewed for a fifth season, but the location of the shoot has not yet been announced.
Last year, Collins did his West End scene in Barcelona.
The romantic thriller saw Collins playing an American tourist who has an overnight stand with a beautiful Spaniard, played by Money Heist’s dead.
