Elon’s plane is in Florida, Global Foundries’ plane is in Florida, Qualcomm’s plane is in Florida… they’re all at President Trump’s property at Mar-a-Lago to make him great to America by… buying Intel.
In a new tweet from Dylan Patel, we are given a picture of an interesting world: Elon + Global Foundries + Qualcomm buying Intel, which would see the US semiconductor industry stabilize a bit. Intel Foundry is the part of the business that would be the biggest prize, with consumer/server processors, IP and other parts of Intel high value for buyers.
Elon Musk’s purchase of Intel is an interesting idea, something I said several months ago when rumors of an Intel buyout began to circulate. I said Elon could do wonders on Intel, which needs to be heavily discounted like he did Twitter (and soon, DOGE for the US government). I went on to say that it was no longer the 90s and that old Intel had to die and be reborn as the industry had changed, and that Intel had missed countless opportunities.
Recently, SemiAccurate’s Charlie said there’s a mystery buyer eyeing Intel… while his plane, Global Foundries plane, and Qualcomm plane are all at Mar-a-Lago, just hours before arrival of President-elect Trump. inaugurated as the 47th President of the United States of America. LFG and MAGA.

When a company wants to use the press, public opinion or investors as a weapon of denial of service, they go public and make it public loud and clear. When a company really wants to buy something, they do everything they can to prevent leaks to keep the price low. The way this email was delivered, or not delivered, made us lean towards it being real. That said, it was far from being a confirmation.“.
He continued: “Last week we received direct confirmation from another highly placed source. This took SemiAccurate from around 60% confidence in the reality of the plan to over 90%. Subsequent conversations brought him to a point of near certainty. So why all this preamble? Because it’s very hard to believe but again, SemiAccurate is 100% sure that the original email was real and that it said that the company in question wanted to acquire Intel in its entirety.
