Elon Musk welcomed a new baby with Shivon Zilis, head of Neuralink, earlier this year. “As for ‘secretly fathered,’ that’s also false,” Musk told Page Six. “All our friends and family know it. Not issuing a press release, which would be odd, does not mean “secret”.
The baby is Musk’s 12th child and third with Zilis, who works for his brain implant company. The name and gender of the new baby have not yet been revealed.
Musk has openly expressed his concern about population decline.
Elon Musk’s latest child has been revealed in a new Bloomberg article, titled “Elon Wants You to Have More Babies,” focusing on his obsession with birth rates.
The report said Zilis declined to comment and Musk did not respond when asked about the child.
Musk told Page Six on Sunday: “Many countries are already well below replacement rate, and the trend is that almost all will be. This is simply a fact, not a “debunked theory.”
He added that “2.1 children is the replacement rate, and obviously the world as a whole will soon fall below that point.”
The Tesla mogul also sent us a link to statistics on fertility rates from the World Bank Group.
Musk previously welcomed twins Strider and Azure with Zilis, 38, in November 2021. The twins were born just a month before he and alternative pop singer Grimes welcomed Exa Dark Sideræl, via surrogate.
The existence of Exa, also known as Y, was revealed in a Vanity Fair article when the child started crying during Grimes’ interview. The headline called the infant “Her Secret New Baby with Elon Musk.”
In July 2022, Musk told us, “Cheers to big families” and said he wanted “as many (kids) that I can spend time with and be a good father.”
That same year, he also tweeted: “The collapse of the birth rate is by far the greatest danger facing civilization. »
Grimes is currently suing Musk for his parental rights to their three children.
