The number of subscribers was erratic, rising in less than two hours to three million before falling sharply. At the time of this article’s publication, the account has nearly 10 million subscribers. The boss of Twitter assured that his teams were currently working to restore the entire fanbase of the 45th president of the United States on the social network.

Notably, Donald Trump now has 4.57 million subscribers on Truth Social, the network he launched after his ouster from the blue bird platform.

Claiming his commitment to freedom of expression, Elon Musk has already reinstated several other suspended user accounts the day before.

Shortly after the finalization of the acquisition of the platform for 44 billion dollars at the end of October, the leader had assured that no major decision on the contents or reactivation of account would take place without the intervention of a dedicated council. A gesture intended, among other things, to reassure advertisers, the group’s main source of income. He has not publicly indicated whether this council has been established.
