Ellen DeGeneres says she was ‘kicked out of show business’

She also drew parallels to the cancellation of her sitcom in 1998. Helenewhich is due to the fact that she came out as gay.

“For those of you keeping score, this is the second time I’ve been kicked out of show business,” Ellen noted. “Finally, they’re going to kick me out a third time because I’m mean, old and gay.”

More than that, however, Ellen expressed her plight, sharing her ideas while talking about her mother. Betty DeGeneres‘ fights against dementia and his own fight in this new chapter of his life.

“My mom doesn’t know she’s my mom,” she explained, “and I’m trying to figure out who I am without my show.”
