Election of Bihar 2025: AAP to contest the 243 seats, first list of 11 candidates

The AAM AADMI Party (AAP) led by Arvind Kejriwal published its first list of 11 candidates in the next elections of the Bihar Assembly. While he bowed in the state, the party announced that it would dispute the 243 districts of the State.

The announcement was made by loading the Bihar d’Aap, Ajesh Yadav, during a press conference in Patna. The announcement came immediately after the publication by the Bihar electoral commissioner, Gyanesh Kumar, the survey calendar.

During the press conference, Yadav said that the party was confident to reproduce its governance model in Delhi and Punjab in Bihar. “We have an approved model of growth and governance. The work carried out by the AAM AADMI party is being discussed across the country. People from the Purvchal region had greatly contributed to our victory in Delhi,” Yadav said.

“Our national manager Arvind Kejriwal asked if they could help us form a government in Delhi, so why not Bihar?” He said.

Of the 11 candidates, Dr. Mira Singh Ira de Begusarai, Bhanu Bhartiya de Kasba in the district of Purnea, Pankaj Kumar de Bankipur in Patna and Arun Kumar Rajak from Phulwari to Patna.

Retirement captain Dharmraj Singh was aligned with Buxar, and Ashok Kumar Singh Ira from Govindganj to Motihari, among others.

The co-charge of the AAP state, Abhinav Rai, said that the party would independently dispute and excluded any alliance with existing political blocks. “Our alliance is with the inhabitants of the Bihar. We will not ally with a party or a coalition,” he added.

The elections in the Bihar assembly are planned in two phases on November 6 and 11, with the counting of votes on November 14.
