New footage for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has leaked online just days after the release of the expansion’s latest trailer.
The pictures reveal nothing as far as story and history go. What they do show, however, is the landscape and environment that players will be able to explore when they head to the Land of Shadow.
“In these strange new lands, players uncover the dark secrets of the world as they meet others who follow in Miquella’s footsteps with ulterior motives,” reads the expansion’s description.
Shadow of the Erdtree will add new weapons, weapon skills, equipment and magic for players as well as a number of new enemies. As you explore the new Shadowlands zone, you will be able to “travel seamlessly” between this zone and the Midlands. It is also expected to be the only expansion for Elden Ring, according to FromSoftware president Hidetaka Miyazaki.
