Eight people were injured in a shooting in Methuen, Massachusetts early Sunday morning.
Methuen Police say they responded to several 911 calls in the area of 100 Lindberg Avenue around 1:55 a.m.
Authorities say it was a gathering organized via social media in which hundreds of people participated.
According to police, seven people were shot and an eighth person was injured while trying to escape.
Authorities say two of the victims are in critical condition.
The ages of the victims were found to be between late teens and 22 years old.
Police say they are reviewing security footage from area businesses.
No arrests have been made.
