This is a good problem to have, if you can call it so.
In Carter, the Giants have acquired that many expert projects have considered the best global perspective, whatever the position.
“Carter can take over and completely destroy an offensive match plan,” wrote NFL media analyst Daniel Jeremiah, in his latest screening report. “He requires attention to each snapshot and it will release everyone around him.”
Carter appeared in 42 career games and made 35 departures for the Nittany Lions, finishing sixth in all time in the history of the bags in bags (23.0), eighth in plated for loss (39.5), and tied in the 12th rank of forced escaped (five).
Before the start of the 2024 college season, Carter told the Defender Star of the Cowboys Micah Parsons that he wanted to be the first choice of the draft. The comrade of Penn State took him “under his wing” and Carter followed by displaying 12 bags and 23.5 plated for the loss, which led the nation and was third in the history of the school.
Like Parsons, Carter went from the second ball to Edge Rusher.
“This is the decision I made,” Carter said during the NFL screening combination at the end of February. “I went to see my coaches, I had a conversation with them. I just knew that my best capacities were to reach the quarter. I knew that I would be the most impactful for the team and that I really have an impact so that I know what I do best is to reach the quarter.”
Carter added: “I definitely tried to model my game after Micah, just looking at him in the same school. I watched him almost my whole career.”
So giant fans. Now Carter can make the same.
“I feel like you really need a franchise rusher,” Carter said when asked Indianapolis on the teams deciding to take a rusher or a quarter. “If you look at all the big teams, all the large teams that have won the Super Bowls, you have this great defensive player off competition. And I feel like you are.”
