Royal comedy Eddie Murphy And Martin Lawrence have officially merged their entertainment dynasties.
Murphy confirmed in an interview in the episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show” that her son, Eric Murphy, and Lawrence’s daughter, Jasmin Lawrence, “were married and married”.
“In fact, they got married two weeks ago,” said Murphy. “They left – everyone was doing their big marriage projects, then they decided that they wanted to do something calm with both.”
Eddie Murphy then joked by saying that his co-star “Life” and “Boomerang” did not “pay for the big marriage now”.
It is not known if the newlyweds knew that Murphy would mention that they were harnessed on national television. Neither Eric Murphy, 35, nor Jasmin Lawrence, 29, posted on the private ceremony on their social media accounts.
The couple announced their commitment to Instagram in November, publishing a video of Candlelit’s proposal.
Although the pair opted for a private ceremony, Eddie Murphy told Hudson that they had planned to launch a “big party” to honor the bride and groom.
The couple began to go out together in 2021, Lawrence Tell Intouch Weekly in an interview the following year. They met through his uncle, not their famous dads, she said.
“It was not even our dads, and they made two films together,” she told Intouch. “They are friends. I don’t even know. It’s crazy. But we met by my uncle, and we have become very good friends. We have linked to a lot. Obviously, we have similar history, so we understood at a certain level. ”
