Ed begins to question the Minister of Bengal arrested in the scam of the distribution of ration – Firstpost

The urgency began to grill the Minister of Western Bengal, Jyoti Priya Mallick, Tuesday, in his city office, as part of his investigation into the alleged scam of the distribution of the rational of rupees with several crores, said a manager.

Mallick (66), Minister of State Forests, was brought to the Emergency Office at the CGO complex in Salt Lake Monday evening after being fully in shape and released by the hospital, where he was being treatment after having collapsed in court October 27.

“Our officers began to question the minister to discover his involvement in the scam. They have a list of questions for him that have been supervised on the basis of the answers given by his former assistants and personal assistant, “the manager told PTI.

Two emergency officers question Mallick and his answers are “noted,” he said.

Ed Sleuths also questions Mallick, who was the Minister of State for Food and Supplies of 2011-21 on the details of his banking balance and three companies where his wife and daughter have held administration positions, declared the manager.

The Central Probe agency is also grilling Amit de, current personal assistant in Mallick and other partners related to its current probe, he added.
