Ebanie Bridges offers a VERY direct suggestion to combat fans obsessed with her relationship with UFC legend Conor McGregor

  • The two have a strong friendship, but fight fans say they are more so.
  • Bridges exploded in luxury due to constant insinuations

Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges has hit out at fight fans who have a “fantasy” about her and Conor McGregor, lashing out after continually having to defend her friendship with the UFC legend.

McGregor and Bridges first met in Irish professional boxer and former footballer Katie Taylor’s opening fight against Chantelle Cameron last May, then went to watch Anthony Joshua fight Robert Helenius a few months later.

After the match, Bridges had to respond to criticism regarding his friendship with McGregor. Two months later, they confirmed their relationship by announcing a sponsorship deal.

Now, Bridges is sponsored by McGregor’s Forged Irish Stout.

Australian boxer Ebanie Bridges and UFC superstar Conor McGregor enjoy a strong friendship and business relationship.

Although they have repeatedly said that they are just friends, the rumor continues to circulate on social media from fight fans.

It’s done little to quiet the noise online from fans suggesting the duo are more than just friends — and Bridges has had enough.

“Yeah, it’s really annoying (having to defend our friendship) because it’s so clear to me,” Bridges told instantcasinos.com.

“Maybe I’m really smart or I just think it’s common sense. I think they (the fans) have this little fantasy that we’re fucking kings, and then they get excited about it and maybe go fuck themselves.

“I don’t know but that’s all I can think of. Because honestly, if something happened, I feel like we wouldn’t be together in public if we did something like that.

“I wouldn’t wear this brand of clothing all the time and have a Forged Irish Stout in my hand all the time. This is clearly promotion.

“They want to think about it in their heads for some reason, for their own little fantasies or to try to bring me down or to try to bring Conor down, because he has a lot of haters too.

But at the end of the day, people who say this are just trying to spread rumors and make things up or get excited.

McGregor and Bridges insist their relationship is strictly business and the Australian said everything else is a “fantasy”.

This isn’t the first time Bridges has been forced to defend her friendship with the UFC star and budding Hollywood action hero.

The former world champion traveled to Dublin in February to visit McGregor and spend the night partying in one of his pubs.

Bridges shared photos from her night on the tile floor with former two-weight champion and 6-1 professional boxer Jasmina Zapotoczna.

It sparked a host of inappropriate comments questioning Bridges’ relationship with McGregor, who has four children with longtime partner Dee Devlin.

Bridges puts them in their place with a four-word response: “That’s what friends do.” »

The Australian boxer said in November that her numerous public appearances with McGregor were purely professional.

“He’s really using me for influence. He sponsors me to raise awareness of his brand. That’s what sponsors do,” she said at the time.

“We met at AJ’s fight and I wore his brand there, because he’s using me to get his brand out there. Otherwise he’d be wearing a heavy shirt.

“But we work together because he knows – he and I – that people will talk about his brand.

“It’s not that I need him, but we both help each other, we’re both an asset to each other’s brands, we both help build each other up, it’s not not one-sided.

“They contacted me, it wasn’t me chasing them.”
