Coronation Street fans have predicted that Dylan Wilson will end up going to prison for Mason’s murder. This follows the events of last night’s episode, in which Mason was killed in a brutal attack by his brothers.
Dylan tried to scare Mason’s brothers by brandishing a knife, but they quickly turned the tables and took the blade for themselves. In the ensuing struggle, Mason was stabbed and Dylan and his brothers fled.
By the time Dylan found Mason, it was too late…and he was bleeding in a nearby playground, with a desperate Abi trying to dress the wound. Paramedics transported Mason to the hospital, where he died.
At home, Dylan was distraught – not least over his own role in Mason’s death, having brought the knife that inflicted the fatal wound. Dad Sean was relieved to see Dylan unharmed, but was unaware of the extent of his involvement.
How troubled is Dylan?
Some Corrie fans fear he may find himself in even hotter water…
Writing following the episode, fans speculated about Dylan’s future. And some wondered if he was in trouble with the law.
“Dylan…locked up next.” DNA… Knife,” one fan said.
“Dylan’s prints are going to be all over this knife…” noted another.
“What’s going to happen to Dylan when they find out it’s his knife?” asked a third.
“Dylan’s prints will probably also be on this knife in addition to the Grim brothers’ prints. This doesn’t look good for Dylan as an accomplice to murder… although the Grim brothers will hopefully both get full sentences for murder,” said a fourth.
Will Dylan be arrested and imprisoned for Mason’s murder?
Coronation Street usually airs Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8pm on ITV.
