DWTS’ Scott Hoying and Mark Hoying Have Baby Via Surrogate

Jen Affleck’s husband asks for ‘prayers’ as she navigates illness amid ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Scott Hoying dance into a new chapter.

THE Pentatonix singer and her husband Mark Manio Hoying revealed during the October 14 episode of Dancing with the stars that they are expecting their first baby together.

“We have one more news for you: We’re having a baby,” Mark told Scott’s dancing partner. Rylee Arnold in a pre-performance video package. “Our surrogate mother is pregnant! »

Scott added giddyly, “We’re going to be dads.”

The couple – who married in 2023 – highlighted their excitement about expanding their family.

“We’ve dreamed of this our whole lives,” Mark continued. “Scott is going to be the best dad in the whole world.”

While noting that it’s “crazy to say out loud” that he’s going to be a father, Scott added, “I’m so excited to start a family with him. I just feel like we’re really, really lucky.”

And that same feeling of gratitude is why the a cappella singer decided to honor her husband on this week’s Dedication Night by dancing the foxtrot to his own song “Parallel,” which he wrote about the night he fell in love with Mark.
