Dustin Poirier rejected suggestions that he could face Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimbett in the final fight of his legendary career.
Poirier wants a last fight before hanging up his gloves, having failed in his quest to capture the light title of the UFC.
The former actual champion was subjected by Islam Makhachev during his last fight in June, the third time he lost when he was difficult for the undisputed belt.
The diamond hinted at retirement at the time, but is now categorical that it will walk again.

“The UFC has not been here for 10 or 11 years, so to bring the organization back, bring the UFC back to the state of Louisiana and remove here, it means a lot for me, and I think it could arrive. I think we get closer. Nothing is certain, but this summer is likely, I would say.
