A driver died in a collision with a single vehicle after the vehicle left a road in San Diego early Thursday.
The accident occurred when Tesla travels on the transitional ramp of Route 94 from the State to Interstate 15 north left the road in a embankment, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officials said the driver died on the scene. The name of the victim was not immediately available.
It was not clear if someone else was in the vehicle, but no additional victim was reported, according to CHP.
The circumstances surrounding the accident have been investigated.
