Driver dies in Waltham rollover crash

Authorities are investigating a rollover crash in Waltham that left the driver dead Sunday evening.

Waltham police responded around 11:43 p.m. to High Street, east of Moody Street, for a report of a car that had rolled over in an accident, police said in a news release. . First responders extricated the driver and passenger from the car and transported them to Lahey Clinic.

Police said the driver was pronounced dead at hospital and the passenger was treated for serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash and police said the investigation was ongoing.
