Drew Dober celebrated his 25th UFC appearance on Saturday, but there was not much to encourage when his fight was over.
The light veteran was eliminated in less than two minutes in the penultimate episode of the UFC Mexico after being cut by a right hand of Manuel Torres and then beaten with hammer fists. Form things, referee Mike Beltran was terribly late in stopping the fight, allowing Dober to absorb several shots unanswered for the head despite any sign of the initial knockdown.
Sunday, Dober reacted to loss via a declaration of social media:
Well, it’s null. A beautifully timed by Manuel Torres. There is not much to leave other than, unfortunately, walking in front of the rear hand of a long power perforator.

“Well, it’s null,” wrote Dober. “A beautifully timed manual Torres. There is not much to leave other than, unfortunately, walking in front of the rear hand of a long power perforator.”
Dober did not comment on the controversial end, which saw a dazed Duber launch out shortly after and resume a combat position, apparently unconscious of combat.
It was the third defeat with direct elimination of DOBER’s career at the UFC, including a cup judgment in its fight against Jean Silva last July. The 36 -year -old has now lost three consecutive games and four of his last five fights.
Dober is not unrelated to the collection of UFC bonuses, having won eight in his career, but this time, Torres has collected $ 50,000 for KO. It’s four bonuses in four victories for Torres now.
As much as I like Mexico City, it gave me two of my most embarrassing losses of my career, haha. But food and people are always the best. I am happy and in good health and excited to be a dad at home for a while.
