Draymond Green repels what he thinks is a “program” to represent him in a certain day after receiving a technical fault in the second quarter of the defeat of the Golden State Warriors 117-93 against the Minnesota Timberwolves in match 2 of the semi-finals of the West Conference.
In a brief statement to journalists from his locker room after the match, Green called the “program to make me look like an angry black man”.
The technical fault was called half the second trimester. Green was initially the victim of a fault by Timberwolves Center, then Green acted as if he was doing a basketball movement and hit Reid in the head with his elbow, bringing him to the ground.
After an examination confirmed the technical fault, Green had a lively discussion with the official and shouted on anyone who listened to before being sent to the bench.
Green’s post-match frustration may have been affected by a different situation in the fourth quarter when he was on a stationary bicycle. Images of a fan directing a racial insult to Green have been broadcast from the arena.
The fan was expelled and escorted out of the arena for safety.
Green is about to receive an automatic suspension of a match for technical faults. Thursday was the fifth technology for which he was called in the first nine games of the Warriors.
The NBA rules indicate that a player who receives seven technical faults is suspended for a match in the playoffs. They will receive an additional ban on a match for each two technical faults evaluated after the seventh.
Playing without Stephen Curry due to an injury to the hamstrings, the Warriors underwent their worst loss of the playoffs. They will welcome the Timberwolves in match 3 at the Chase Center on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. HE with the 1-1 equality series.
