Donald Trump’s staff bought nearly $700 worth of food at a McDonald’s near the New York courthouse, where the first criminal trial of a former US president is taking place.
Three male staff members gathered at the fast-food restaurant, a five-minute walk from the court, just before noon on the third day of Stormy Daniels’ secret trial, McDonald’s workers told DailyMail.com.
They allegedly placed an order at the counter on Thursday that included 27 quarter pounders, 27 servings of fries, fish fillet burgers and chicken nuggets.
The employees left with four large bags, but reportedly left no tip for the workers who prepared their long order.
McDonald’s employees said this isn’t the first time they’ve seen the same Trump employees serve them similar dishes last year.

Trump’s employees did not purchase any drinks or treats from McDonald’s and waited about 45 minutes for their order, according to workers.
Employees of the fast food chain added that this was the first time during this trial that members of the former president’s staff had surrendered.
“They came here yesterday and bought a lot of food for almost $700,” a McDonald’s employee, who asked to remain anonymous, told DailyMail.com.
“They ordered 27 quarter pounders, 27 fries, chicken nuggets and fish fillets. They didn’t even leave a tip, nothing!
“There were three people who came in and placed their order at the counter.
“This is not the first time we have seen them. They came last year while he was in court. He has a lot of problems.
An aide was caught leaving the popular fast food chain with four large bags, riding in a vehicle marked “Staff 2,” a sign that the black van was part of Trump’s motorcade.
Trump’s love of McDonald’s is a well-documented affair.
His favorite meal is two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fishes and a chocolate malted milkshake – according to ex-aides Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie in their book Let Trump Be Trump.
During a government shutdown in 2019, the then-president ordered McDonald’s and other fast food restaurants — totaling about $5,500 — to feed the University’s football team of Clemson, the White House kitchen not being open.
In a viral tweet, the commander-in-chief accidentally referred to the tariff as “hamberders.”
McDonald’s employees said this isn’t the first time they’ve seen the same Trump employees serve them similar dishes last year.

Controversial author Michael Wolff wrote in his 2018 book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, that Trump likes McDonald’s because of an unusual anxiety.
Trump “had long been afraid of being poisoned, one of the reasons he liked to eat at McDonald’s: no one knew he was coming and the food was prepared safely,” Wolff said.

During his 2016 presidential bid, Trump called McDonald’s “a great thing” during a CNN town hall with Anderson Cooper.
The then-presidential candidate argued that the company had an obligation to keep its restaurants clean and tidy.
“One bad hamburger can destroy McDonald’s,” Trump said. “One bad hamburger and you take Wendy’s and all these other places and they go out of business.”
“I like cleanliness and I think it’s better to go there than maybe somewhere where you have no idea where the food comes from,” the real estate developer added.
After Thursday’s recess at McDonald’s, Judge Juan Merchan adjourned the court after a full jury of 12 was selected.
As the last alternate jurors were seated Friday afternoon.
Trump will hit the campaign trail Saturday for a rally in North Carolina — a state he narrowly won against President Joe Biden four years ago.
