Dolphins LT Terron Armstead retires

The dolphins Fully awaited. And it’s now official.

The left tackle Terron Armstead retired, according to Ian Rapoport from NFL Media.

A choice of third round of the Saints in 2013 of Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Armstead spent nine years in New Orleans and three in Miami. He was a fifty pro and a second team in 2018.

Armstead started 15 games for dolphins in 2024. They will now need a new left tackle. Patrick Paul, a second round choice in 2024, became a strong internal possibility. Dolphins could also try to strengthen the position in the project.

Armstead was under contract until 2026. Dolphins could delay treatment of retirement until June 1. This would divide the ceiling costs between the following two seasons, with $ 7.316 million for hitting books this year and $ 10.732 million applying to 2026.

Even if Armstead is gone, the guys who remain should take his words to heart. Asked during the Super Bowl week on internal claims that the team had been gentle, Armstead said this: “I think We need more than one sideno more attention to details and little things. The soft word makes me cringe. I have never been associated with the word, so it is difficult to speak even. »»

He is no longer associated with dolphins. So, if the concerns about the team are soft, they don’t stick.
