Dollar hits new highs as London/Europe exits for the day

The USD is the strongest of the majors. The JPY is the weakest.

As London/European traders look to get out for the day, the US Dollar is making new highs against all major currencies. The USD is the strongest of the majors, rising the most against the JPY and NZD (1.67% and 1.58% respectively)

The hike comes after stronger ISM services data and comments from WSJ’s Timiraos that the Fed’s 5% cap may need to be higher due to rising wages.

US yields rose with the 2-year up 7.8 basis points. The 10-year is up 8 bps at 3.580%
