The housewives are heading to Scotland and they’ve made sure to pack their slogans in their hand luggage. Who are we kidding? Housewives check their bags. Chanel Ayan (Dubai), Robyn Dixon (Potomac), Dorinda Medley (NYC) and Dolores Catania (New Jersey) trade their turf for greener pastures in The traitors Season three in the United States. Are there any Easter eggs among the slogans? Probably not, but it’s always fun to introduce a little Bravo into the competition before the first three episodes are released on Thursday. In the same spirit, let’s classify the respective catchphrase of each housewife.
“Diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend, daggers are.”
I feel like we could have looked at Traitors theme a little more: shields, round tables, castles. Just something more than just daggers. She will probably also wear diamonds during the match.
“You can banish me or kill me. But you will never forget me.
I’ll be honest: as soon as someone is eliminated from a reality competition, my memory is erased, Men in black style. So if she gets eliminated, sorry Robyn!
“You may know me as Lady of the Manor, but now I’m going to be Queen of the Castle.”
Dorinda tells us a bit about her story, alluding to her time in London (“Lady of the Manor”) and perhaps foreshadowing her style of play (or perhaps an alliance with Lord Ivar Mountbatten.)
“Betrayal and betrayal?” I thought it was going to be an escape from my real life.
This is the best representation of how the Housewives strategy is implemented in the game and how their specific series format has become an advantage.
