Doak Campbell Stadium ranks among the best in college football 25

As we count down the days until College Football 25 returns, EA Sports has released its rankings of the hardest places to play.

Florida State’s Doak S. Campbell Stadium was selected 9th overall.

It’s a game ahead of its in-state rival, the Florida Gators. Texas A&M’s Kyle Field is the #1 hardest stadium to play in.

Other schools ahead of FSU are Bryant-Denney Stadium in Alabama, LSU’s Tiger Stadium, Ohio Stadium at Ohio State (aka The Horseshoe), Sanford Stadium in Georgia, Campbell Randall Stadium in Wisconsin and Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Oklahoma. .

According to the EA website, historical statistics such as home winning percentage, home game attendance, active home winning streaks, and team prestige are considered ranking factors.

Doak Campbell has been around for 79 years, has a capacity of about 79,000 and averaged 78,711 last season. FSU has won nine straight home games since the 2022 season.

The west side of the stadium is currently under renovation and should be ready before the start of the 2025 season when the Seminoles play Alabama.

Despite having temporary seats this season, FSU has sold out four home games.

FSU will have its stadium ready in July 2025.

FSU opens the season against Georgia Tech in the Aer Lingus Classic in Dublin, Ireland on August 24 at noon on ESPN. Its first home opener will be against Boston College on Labor Day at 7:30 p.m.

College Football 25 is scheduled to be available on July 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S.
