Disturbing video shows student attacked on school bus in Framingham

Framingham Public Schools says it is “deeply concerned” about a video showing a student being beaten on a bus.

A Framingham Public Schools spokesperson told Boston 25 News the attack on the bus carrying students from Cameron Middle School happened two months ago.

The video sent to Boston 25 by a viewer shows several students repeatedly punching a student trying to cower in an attempt to protect himself.

The viewer who sent this footage told Boston 25 the child was taken to the emergency room with a fractured rib, bite marks and blunt force trauma. The informant also claims that the bus driver did not intervene.

Framingham police told Boston 25 the violent incident was handled by the school, parents and police. The school district says student safety and well-being are its top priorities and schools work with their transportation provider to ensure students are transported to and from school safely.
