Two beloved characters from the film Pixar “Coco” will join the international set of “It’s a Small World” in Disneyland, which reopens on Tuesday after a five-month renovation.
The popular attraction has been closed since January for a standard maintenance renovation, Disneyland officials said.

The characters Miguel and his acolyte and Alebrije, Dante, Film 2017 “Coco” are now in good place while the runners cross the scenes of Mexico in the attraction, which presents figures of people and animals from around the world.
Miguel and Dante are the only physical additions or changes that runners can wait, Disneyland officials confirmed on Tuesday.
But the familiar melody “It’s a Small World” will soon include a new verse from the singer-songwriter and the frequent collaborator of Walt Disney Richard M. Sherman. From July 17, the runners will hear the third and last verse of the melody during the final of the attraction.
Sherman, who died last May, wrote the new words of his final of many contributions to Disney, who, with his brother and writing partner of songs, Robert, included music for “Mary Poppins” and “The Jungle Book”.
As part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Disneyland, visitors to the Park at Main Street Cinema can watch a three -minute film entitled “The Last Pours”, which celebrates the 60th anniversary of the emblematic song and reveals the new verse. The short film will make its debut on July 17.
Another birthday celebration bonus, a night projection program entitled “Tapestry of Happiness”, will project animations of experiences from Disneyland and beloved characters on the facade of attraction “it’s a little world”. The animation and the visual effects of the show are inspired by the work of the legendary artist Disney Mary Blair.
Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebrations will start this Friday and several new experiences will make his debut on July 17.
