Seven new emoji will be submitted for approval to the Unicode Consortium emoji body later this year.
If approved, emoji could come to your phones in 2025. But they would probably look a little different than how they appear now, as different companies offer different versions for their respective operating systems (the version of Apple would be different from Android, for example).
