Producer Dil Raju held a press conference today to share crucial updates on the Sankranthi releases. He made notable remarks regarding the potential hike in ticket prices for the film in Telangana. Game Changer is set to release on January 10 as a Sankranti gift, and it has already garnered considerable attention. Dil Raju expressed his intention to approach Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy again for approval to increase ticket fares in the state.
Dil Raju underlined his optimism, highlighting the CM’s forward-thinking approach and support for the development of the film industry. He pointed out that increasing ticket prices for big-budget films benefits producers and contributes to the government through an 18% tax on ticket sales.
Recalling Revanth’s statements in an earlier meeting, Dil Raju said, “Ravanth Reddy garu said he was ready to provide whatever we asked for. Therefore, we will ask about the increased prices of movie tickets in the state. This will also benefit the government. He only wishes that unfortunate incidents do not occur, which is what we are committed to.”
Dil Raju is also aiming for a return to success with Sankranthi releases. He produced Game Changer as well as Sankranthi Ki Vastunnam. Additionally, it distributes Daaku Maharaaj.
