Court report
I caught up with the spokesperson for Diddy, Holly Baird, before heading for the courthouse for the defense of the Cassie de la Défense.
She tells me that the defense plans to spend at least two days on the cross and will seek to fill certain shortcomings and questions that they deem the jurors and others could have.
She says they will question Cassie about the reasons why she stayed with him, and if there was love in the relationship.
They will also try to put text messages between the two in their context, she says, in order to show his point of view and what he says was happening in real time.
Remember that the defense admitted that there were domestic violence, but Diddy denies the accusations of racketeering and sex trafficking against him.
Baird also shared that the trial and the whole situation were difficult for the Combs family.
I asked if the confidence of the children of Diddy in him had been shaken by the painful testimony of Cassie.
She insisted that they are still together and want to protect their father.
