Diddy makes a shock decision because he offered a last -minute plea agreement a few days before his trial on sexual crimes

Diddy rejected a last -minute advocacy agreement from prosecutors on the eve of his trial on sex crimes.

The disagreeable hip hop magnate, which appeared in court for glasses, confirmed that he had not accepted the offer during his preliminary audience in New York on Thursday.

The specific terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but the prosecutors said that the founder of Bad Boy would have known less prison if he had accepted it and had been found guilty.

Diddy’s decision means that his trial will advance next week with the selection of the jury which is expected to start on Monday, May 5.

His lawyer Marc Agnifilo told court that the two had discussed the agreement last week and “arrived at a decision” together.

The Glasses Diddy was invited to stand by judge Arun Subramanian who asked him if he had read the plea agreement.

“I have your honor,” he said.

When the judge asked if he had “rejected the plea offer”. Diddy replied: “Yes, I did it, your honor”.

Diddy, the real name Sean Combs, arrived in court with the question of the usual prison, a top and pants of tanned colored. He will have to wait until Monday to wear his own clothes in front of the jury after the judge recently allowed him to dress.

Since he was locked up at the Brooklyn metropolitan detention center following his arrest in September, Combs has become significantly more gray and more scrutinized, and appeared on Thursday in court with glasses.

He held a black file filled with documents and embraces his lawyers, the fist bumping with a lawyer, teny geragos, and exchanging smiles with her.

He praised a man in the public gallery, but no one in his family was present, unlike the previous hearing.

Diddy put dark glasses while working on legal documents, reading carefully when he crossed a file. He also needed it to read something on Geragos’ computer when she showed him.

The court learned that the selection of the jury would imply potential jurors separated into groups of 50 with the first group held in a courtroom in the New York Federal Court.

They will be led one by one in a courtroom on the same floor where they answer detailed issues of lawyers for defense and prosecution: Diddy will be present.

If a juror who needs to discuss a sensitive affair, he will be treated by a sidebar, a private conference on the judge’s bench that journalists in the courtroom cannot hear.

J. Subramanian made a warning to Lisa Bloom, a lawyer who represents Dawn Richard, one of the accusers of Diddy, on his recent comments on the case at the BBC.

Diddy’s lawyer, Teny Geragos, said that Bloom’s comments were “very disturbing” and intended to strengthen his client’s credibility.

The judge said that all lawyers, including Bloom, should “respect their obligations under professional conduct rules”.

He swore to “take the appropriate measures” if someone broke these rules and near the trial, he “tolerated nothing that altered the defendant’s right to a jury.”

The rapper’s hearing intervenes after his legal team asked the judge to muzzle other lawyers to comment on the mugul of the bad boy in disgrace before next week’s trial.

In a letter tabled on Tuesday, combat lawyers declared that despite their previous request for Bâillon, several lawyers who represent victims and alleged witnesses continue to blur the jury with “negative advertising” towards their client.

The Combs team specifically appointed Douglas Wigdor, which represents the ex-Cassie Ventura de Peigt, for having spoken to the media.

“In the absence of an order from the court, we expect advertising not only to continue, but go as the trial begins,” they wrote in the letter to the American district judge Arun Subramanian.

“Indeed, in recent weeks, lawyers for the government’s witnesses have commented on preliminary disputes and have continued to disseminate prejudicial statements.”

They highlighted Wigdor’s comments concerning the Combres request to keep the rapper’s surveillance video pulling and dragging Ventura by the hair in a corridor of the Los Angeles hotel in 2016 when she was trying to escape.

Earlier this week, a judge allowed the music magnate to wear his own clothes to his trial.

The Hip Hop Magnat in disgrace can abandon the problem of the prison, the top and the colored pants tanned next week when the selection of the jury begins and for the rest of the case.

But the judge set certain conditions on Diddy, which designed his own range of clothes and won another time a prestigious price in the fashion industry.

He can only have up to five pairs of pants, shirts and socks and only two pairs of shoes – without laces.

There was no mention of jewelry so that Diddy could bring the bling if he wanted it.

Diddy, 55, whose real name is Sean Combs, denies sex trafficking and other accusations.

The selection of the jury at the New York Federal Court is expected to start in May and open statements on May 12.

Diddy’s lawyers have made the request for him to wear clothes other than those of the Grim Metropolitan detention center, where he is detained, to judge Arun Subramanian.

In his decision, the judge said: “The defendant Sean Combs, detained n ° 37452-054, will be authorized to receive clothes without loan from the MDC to wear for his trial scheduled to start on May 5, 2025.

“It is authorized to have up to five buttoned shirts, up to five pants pants, up to five sweaters, up to five pairs of socks and up to two pairs of shoes without laces to wear in court.”

Before his fall in Grace Diddy, was considered one of the most fashionable men on the planet.

His culmination came in 2004 when he won the Prize for the fashion designer of fashion designers for his own fashion line, Sean John, who took importance at the time of the “bad boy” in the 1990s and was worn by Paris Hilton and Rihanna among others.

A feature film in Vogue magazine in 2019 on the 50th anniversary of Mark Diddy declared that he was “difficult to overexpress the clothing impact” which he had in the fashion world.
