The paadres have led what could be the worst fire, so maybe they would never have made the star closer to Robert Suarez, anyway.
But Word is not a team made a serious game for Suarez, the right -hander of 101 mi / h which directs the NL in the stops – not the Yankees (who opted for Devin Williams instead), nor anyone else.
The paadres would have listened to everyone, except Fernando Tatis Jr., Manny Machado and Jackson Merrill, but ended up trading no one – and really added instead.
So it may not be really a missed opportunity.
