Detroit Popeyes closes after DoorDash pilot video shows cockroaches on food order

A Popeyes chicken restaurant in Detroit, Michigan was forced to close this week after video posted online by a DoorDash driver showed cockroaches crawling around the store.

“They all have cockroaches,” the driver said in one of the videos with cockroaches pictures crawling around the counter and around the food order. “Running all over straws.”

“I told the workers they were all over there, they cleared out,” said the woman. “They’re just laughing.”

A Popeyes spokesperson confirmed to Fox News Digital that the store, located on Detroit’s east side, was temporarily closed in response to the video.
