‘Despicable Me 4’: $120 million in box office for July 4th weekend

That’s a number that puts the film on pace for $120 million in its first five days through Sunday. That’s where the tracker has spotted it, and it’s a number that underscores the continued upward nature of the current box office as event films crowd the calendar in the wake of Hollywood’s double-barreled strikes.
