Derek Chisora ​​claimed Frank Warren offered him an all-British showdown with Joe Joyce.

“Frank Warren contacted me about Joe Joyce,” he told iFL TV.

“I’m interested in it but I don’t want it when they want it. They want it at the end of the year.

“I also have Baby Miller. People propose fights, but do they really want to fight? They make phone calls and probe you, then don’t call back.

Joyce is currently rebuilding her career after two devastating stoppage losses to Zhilei Zhang last year.

He beat Kash Ali in the distance two weeks ago, but his performance left a lot to be desired.

Ali was in survival mode for most of the contest, which meant Joyce struggled to produce the type of emphatic victory he needed to re-advertise himself to the boxing world.

But a fight with Chisora, who always leaves it all in the ring, would most likely catch fire for a few rounds even though the British boxing legend is well past his best.

Boxing fans are unlikely to be captivated by this match, with many hoping to see Chisora ​​retire after a grueling 17-year career in the paid ranks.

However, even though he just celebrated his 40th birthday, Chisora ​​still has no plans to hang up his gloves.

When asked if he still wanted to fight, Chisora ​​replied: “I always misunderstood him. I always want smoke, I want violence, that’s what I want.

“We live in a world of violence. If you don’t prepare for violence, forget it. People want violence and I want violence.”

Miller’s fight is intriguing. Chisora ​​claims he was offered a fight against the American during the “Day of Reckoning” bill late last year, but chose to decline.
