An assistant referee for the English football league would have been accused of an offense on children’s sex.
Gareth Viccars is expected to appear in court while he faces an accusation of penetrating sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15.
Viscars, 46, has already appeared before the Willesden court of first instance last week and must be provided for in the crown court of Snaresbrook on March 3 where a plea will be placed, according to Sky Sports News.
He is in pre -trial detention.
It is understood that Viscars did not officiate in any match of this campaign.
“As soon as the allegations were revealed, Mr. Viscars was immediately suspended,” a spokesman for the referees’ body.

“As the case is the subject of an in progress police investigation, we are unable to comment more.”
According to his profile on worldfootball.net, Viscars has officiated in the football league since the 2018-19 season as well as the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.
From the 2015-2016 season, Viscars officiated in the Premier League 2, which was at the time the League of under 21.
