It is not because Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia is back on American soil to face criminal charges after being wrongly deported to a prison in El Salvador.

Sunday, the lawyers of Mr. Abrego Garcia in the civil affair Puffed courts deposited Distant that even if the White House had finally respected a return order of his client, the judge supervising the case should always continue an outrage procedure against Trump officials. The administration, wrote the lawyers, had spent much of the last three months “engaged in an elaborate effort and all to the government to challenge the judicial orders”.

The documents, filed before the Federal District Court of Maryland, where Mr. Abrego Garcia’s family first put an action in March to force the government to bring it back, had just as fiery words for the federal criminal indictment which was filed against him in Nashville on Friday. The accusation act accused Mr. Abrego Garcia of participating in a plot of several years to pass thousands of undocumented immigrants across the United States as a member of the Violent MS-13 street gang.

On Sunday, in their judicial documents, his lawyers in the civil affair said that the obvious capacity of the White House to bring Mr. Abrego Garcia to the United States to face criminal charges brought the lie repeated by the administration officials that they could not get him out of Salvador. Lawyers also conceived the accusation act itself as the “last act of outrage” of the administration, accusing the Ministry of Justice of starting to work there only when the ministry was “threatened with sanctions” for having violated the orders of Judge Xinis, who treats the civil affair from the start.

“Two things are now clear,” the lawyers wrote. “First, the government has always had the ability to return Abrego Garcia, but it simply refused to do so. Secondly, the government has carried out a determined dropout campaign to avoid outrageous sanctions long enough to concoct a politically economical outing of its own situation. ”

The file came in response to a request to judge Xinis of the Ministry of Justice to suspend all the procedures in the civil affair while the lawyers of the ministry prepared a request to reject it completely.
