DEO writes to Chief Electoral Officer over AAP’s voter deletion allegations

Delhi Election 2025 Dates Live: The New Delhi District Election Officer has written to the Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi regarding AAP leaders’ claims about voter deletions in the New Delhi Assembly area.

Ashish Sood, BJP’s candidate from Janakpuri, thanked the party’s central leadership for selecting him to tackle the “AAPda” in Janakpuri.

The Election Commission will announce the schedule for polls to the Delhi Legislative Assembly on Tuesday (January 7).

The Commission has convened a press conference at 2 pm on Tuesday to announce the election schedule. The term of the 70-member Assembly ends on February 23, and elections have to held before that to constitute a new House.

Delhi has traditionally seen assembly polls in a single phase.
