The family of a Denver hairdresser who has disappeared since April said that his body had been found.
Jax Gratton was seen for the last time by leaving his apartment at Hills University on April 15. She rented a suite in Solera Salon Suites in Denver, but because each stylist works for themselves, it took any days to anyone who realized that she was missing. The family and friends have developed social media and put leaflets in the city, in the hope of finding it.
Saturday, Cherilynne Gratton-Camis confirmed to CBS Colorado that his daughter, Jax, had been found deceased. A friend and a colleague said Jax’s body was found outside in Lakewood.
Brandy Carey, the director of the show and friend of Gratton’s, said that they planned to organize a vigil for her, but for the moment, they take time to treat what has happened.
Gratton’s mother has published a tribute to her daughter on Facebook, declaring: “Jax Gratton was a light – I know it. She turned so many lives just by being herself. Himplely. Freretiously. Entirely. I see her in all acts of love and strength that you have shown, and I wish peace, love and protection for you all.”
She thanked those who tried to help find her daughter and said that Jax’s death had made her more aware of the dangers than the LGBTQIA + community is confronted.
