Democrats want Elon Musk to continue to hit the campaign track

After defeating a Supreme Wisconsin Court race on Tuesday, the Democrats send a message to Elon Musk: continue to campaign for the GOP.

Ben Wikler, president of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, told journalists during a press call on Wednesday that Musk should become “special select for mid-term elections by President Donald Trump”.

“At the same time, Elon Musk should be removed as quickly as possible from any position of power on the federal government,” added Wikler, referring to the role of the billionaire businessman as a de facto Doge leader.

Musk had poured millions of dollars into the race, arguing that the future of Western civilization was at stake. It was the first election on the state level since Trump’s victory in 2024 and was considered a barometer for the national mood. He even struck the campaign track in person, organizing a town hall event in Green Bay on Sunday evening.

“Elon Musk’s money could buy announcements, but it pushes the voters,” said Wikler. The survey has largely shown that musk is less popular than Trump.

Ken Martin, president of the National Democratic Committee, also mentioned Musk on the call.

“More Elon Musk wants to go out, I say going to Elon,” said Martin. “There are many other states in which we would like to campaign.”

The race for Wisconsin – as well as the results of the special elections narrower than expected in two districts of the deep red chamber in Florida – entangled from the Democrats with regard to the House of Representatives, where the Republicans currently have an extremely narrow advance. In 2024, Musk spent more than $ 19 million by supporting various Democratic candidates.

Katarina Flicker, spokesperson for the majority of the PAC chamber, said in a statement that the Democratic aligned group “encourages one of the most unpopular men in America to campaign with the Republicans across the country.”

“His efforts will be crucial for the Democrats to resume the room in 2026,” said Flicker about Musk.

A Musk’s Super Pac spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
