Moore continued, explaining that she had not had much time to prepare for the role after director Joseph McGinty Nichol contacted her.
“You know, he called me to start shooting three and a half weeks,” she recalls. “And I didn’t have time to think about what I looked like, which was almost better.”
She added that she was able to “compartmentalize” and approach the scene head -on.
Barrymore was shocked by the revelation, saying that Moore looked fantastic.
“No one can do in three weeks with which you showed up. So you were clearly ready to go,” she gave her former Costar. “As there is no magic wand that leads you to this in three weeks. I followed a three-week diet. I did not end up up there.”
For Moore, she said that she was surprised by the accent put on her appearance in the film, adding that it was improved thanks to her age at the age of 40 while they were shooting.
“I think that I was not prepared for the objective that took place there. I did not know the amplification, ironically, which was specifically linked to my age,” she said years after the first in the film.
