The longtime democrat representative Jerrold Nadler criticized President Trump for having “sown chaos” nationally after federal agents handle one of his collaborators inside his Lower Manhattan office.
The verbal legislator tirade intervened after the agents of the Ministry of Internal Security entered the Big Apple office on Wednesday and accused its staff of “hosting rioters” in a filmed dramatic confrontation.
“President Trump and the Ministry of Internal Security sowed chaos in our communities, using intimidating tactics against citizens and non-citizens in an imprudent and dangerous way”, ” He said in a statement in Politico.
“If this can happen in a member of the Congress office, it can happen to anyone – and it happens.”
The video, obtained by Gothamist, has shown that an agent held an employee with tearful eyes aggressively, while another employee asked for a mandate and prevented a second officer from entering a private section of the Congress office, located in the same Varick Street building as Federal Immigration.
“I am a federal officer, we check something here,” the male agent told the employee on his way, The images have shown.
“We have the right to check. You host rioters in the office,” he said in the round trips that ended with the staff member granting him access to the back office.
Nadler said that the “deeply disturbing” incident showed a clear violation of legal protocols.
Federal protection services agents went to the Congress member office to make a security check after receiving reports that the demonstrators were hiding inside, DHS said in a statement.
“Based on previous incidents in a neighboring establishment, FPS officers were concerned about the security of federal employees at the office and went there to ensure the safety and well-being of those present,” said internal security officials.
Upon their arrival, a person – the woman who was briefly owned – was “verbally conflictual and physically blocked access to the office” after the police identified and explained why there was there.
“The police then arrested the individual in the corridor in order to finish the security check,” said DHS.
The assistant was released after the ardent impasse – who would have broken out when a member of Nadler’s staff invited two defenders to monitor the ice activity at the courthouse in the office.
Nadler accused the Trump administration adopts totalitarian and authoritarian tactics.
“The Trump administration is trying to intimidate the members of the Congress,” said Nadler The New York Times SATURDAY.
“They behave like fascists. We have to fight them. We don’t want to be a fascist country. “
