John Nelson is grateful to be alive after surviving the landing accident in Toronto.
A Delta Airlines flying from Minneapolis, Minnesota, crashed and turned backwards upon arrival of Toronto Pearson International Airport on January 17. Fortunately, the 80 passengers on board were able to escape with minor injuries suffering.
John, who recorded the consequences of the incident, said that it was a “typical flight” until the plane touches on the ground.
“When he arrived, it was a routine,” said John in an interview on January 17 with CNN. “But it should be noted that the tracks were in a strange state. And when we touched the ground and the plane went laterally, we slipped on our sides and we are finished on the back. »»
“When we finished, we were upside down,” he continued. “Fortunately, everyone was fine, but we tried to go out as quickly as possible. Shortly after filming the video, there was another explosion, but the firefighters were there. »»
John was one of the 76 passengers and four crew members on the flight 4819 Delta.
