Dell is introducing three new monitors at CES 2025, but the most interesting one includes a feature you may have already experienced with a pair of AirPods: spatial audio. The Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED Monitor is the first monitor to feature “AI-enhanced 3D spatial audio,” according to Dell.
The monitor’s 5x5W speakers are able to perform their audio tricks thanks to “AI-driven head tracking” that tracks your head and adjusts audio playback so you’re always immersed. It’s a system that appears similar to Razer’s Leviathan V2 Pro PC soundbar from 2023, which also used head tracking to simulate a spatial audio experience. Dell has just managed to integrate the necessary sensors and speakers into a monitor, probably with thinner sound as a compromise.
If you’re more concerned about the screen, you’re in luck. The Dell 32 Plus 4K features a 31.5-inch QD OLED panel with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution, which is ideal for creative work or gaming. Features like Dolby Vision, HDR TB400 and AMD FreeSync Premium mean you’ll also get the brightest, tear-free picture when you sit down in front of the screen.
Alongside its new spatial audio monitor, Dell is updating two sizes of its UltraSharp line, the Dell UltraSharp 27 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitor and the UltraSharp 30 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitor. Dell says the two UltraSharps are the first “enhanced IPS Black monitors,” meaning they will offer “three times the contrast of conventional IPS displays and 47 percent deeper blacks.”
The Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED Monitor will be available in China on March 27, before launching globally on May 22 for $799.99. The Dell UltraSharp 27 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitor and UltraSharp 30 4K Thunderbolt Hub Monitor will be available on February 25 for $699.99 and $949.99, respectively.
