Delivery driver thanks couple who left snacks on porch

A UPS delivery driver from Louisville, Kentucky recently met and thanked a couple who wanted to brighten his day.
In November, Dorian Young stopped by the Barnett Residence and was surprised to find a free snack bar set up for him on the porch as he made his delivery, WAVE reported Thursday.
Her excitement was recorded on the family’s Nest camera and has since thrilled countless people on social media.
“You guys are the best! Oh, the Capri Suns are my favorite! Yes!” he said before making his selection. “Thanks!” he continued before waving at the camera and returning to his truck:
According to Toni Barnett and her husband, Jason, setting up the mini-snack during the holiday season for delivery drivers has become a tradition that began during the pandemic.
“I love the reactions I get from the snack cart, it’s by far the best,” Toni said, adding, “(Young) is just full of excitement and energy.”
Young visited the couple on Thursday to thank them for their kind gesture and also brought a few items to replenish their stock.
“It’s really great, like you’re really appreciated. I love them. They’re so cool, and I got to interact with them and get to know them. Yeah, it’s great,” Young told reporters .
In a social media post on Friday, UPS Airlines share a photo of the three friends with big smiles on their faces:

Meanwhile, Young described his job as the best in the world, saying, “If you want to spend days in trucks and meet great people all day, I definitely recommend it.”
Last year, a California homeowner also left snacks on her porch to bless delivery drivers and video footage showed several of them choosing what they wanted before heading back to work:
Snacks included fruit, drinks, crisps and chocolate.
