Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge said his party’s performance in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh was “undoubtedly disappointing, but with determination, we reaffirm our strong resolve to rebuild and revive ourselves” .
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has accepted his party’s defeat in three states – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh – in the recently concluded assembly elections.
“We will overcome temporary setbacks and fully prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with Indian parties,” Kharge said in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Congress president also thanked the people of Telangana for voting for his party by dislodging the K Chandrashekar Rao-led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party.
