Death of Benoît Allemane, French voice of Morgan Freeman

Originally from Clermont-Ferrand, the man who began his career as an actor at the age of 16 became a figure in dubbing, notably becoming, from 1991, the French voice of the actor in the film “Les Evadés” (1994) , “Seven” (1995) or “The Dark Knight” (2008). Many also heard him in the Disney cartoon “Hercules” (1997), where he made Zeus speak; for his portrayal of Santa Claus in the animated film “Santa’s Apprentice and the Magic Snowflake” (2013); or even in “Les Guignols de l’info” where he made a few… vocal appearances.
